Lawless Outboard Drives

These Lawless™ drives have become very popular over the last year, we normally have drives in stock, but it is best if you call before placing your order. Because these drives are hand made in the USA we sometimes get behind, please allow as much as 8 weeks for delivery.

The 3.5 QuickShot Drive can be used with K&B, Rossi, Nova Rossi, OS-21 and others. Any motor that is interchangeable with K&B will fit the standard motor mount plate, and motors such as the OS-21 that don't match can be adapted with a special plate. The 3.5 drive is also available on request WITHOUT the 4 small water holes in the lower "bullet" . This style is preferred when pressure oiling is installed, otherwise, these holes need to be plugged. Small dimples are provided as a guide, in case the water holes need to be added at a later date. The 3.5 drive weighs less than 5 ounces, complete.

The 7.5 FastGun Drive  is available for standard K&B and compatible 7.5cc motors,  or can be purchased with a mounting plate for larger size (11cc, 13cc) K&B motors. The styling of the drives is "modular", so changes to individual parts can be made, like the motor mount plate and cavitation plate without affecting the basic design.

The 7.5 drive will soon be available WITHOUT water holes, for pressure oiling setups. The 7.5 drive weighs
less than 8 ounces complete.

The Cutthroat G-Drive is now available on a limited basis! This drive fits the Zenoah gas engine and comes with the BH-Hansen one piece aluminum square drive that attaches to the Zenoah motor to drive the flex shaft.

The BushWhacker Steering Arm that is designed exclusively for use with Lawless drives (and doesn't fit anything else). These steering arms are machined from aircraft aluminum and have the particular advantage of mounting directly onto the top of the drive, right over the pivot pin. They do not attach to the motor at all, so you can remove the motor without disturbing your steering linkage. It also gets the steering linkage down lower, so the line from the radio box is more direct if you happen to be using rods instead of cables. They come drilled for a single 4-40 ball connector at each end, but can be re-drilled to suit other applications. Since the arm mounts to the drive, not the motor, ALL of the torque  is transferred directly to the drive, instead of the usual setup which relies on the strength
of the motor mounting screws to transfer the steering torque down to the drive (which can lead to loosening or
failure of the motor mounting screws).

Oil Out Kit

The "Oil-Out" Cleaning Tool which is a helpful tool to make blowing out an engine easier and neater. It screws into the glow plug hole and attaches to a bottle to collect all the after-run oil that would ordinarily be blown out onto the ground or yourself. It eliminates the need to pack rags around inboard engines to keep from spraying oil all over the inside of your boat. The Oil-Out is available by itself, with simple instructions, or in a complete kit with collecting bottle, tubing, and simple instructions.
